Whenever I travel I try to stay with Servas members as much as possible. Servas (http://www.servas.org), to me, is the best way to enjoy the local scene in a way only locals would do. You live their life for a day or two, you share their moments of happiness and joy and in return you cook them dinner... or you make the movie they so much want to make. Like I did here at Nancy's place on Peaks Island, Massachusettes, US. She's running a umbrella cover museum. No, this is not a joke! Given the kind of objects you can admire in there, the museum is somehow related to weather conditions, so the link to a videotaped weatherforecast was obvious, at least to Nancy. We had so much fun that day, and although it was raining, it felt like a bright and very energizing day!
